Why the haircut disappointed

Four rushed words at the basin, a photo of different hair, and no conversation about the mornings afterwards.

How we work

Consult, test, then cut

A consultation is the part that decides whether you like the result. Texture, growth patterns, hair history and how much time you'll spend styling it matter more than the picture on the phone.

Colour needs the same honesty plus a patch test. What's already in the hair determines what's achievable in one appointment, and sometimes the right answer is two appointments and a treatment in between.

Then aftercare should be realistic. A style that needs forty minutes every morning isn't a good cut for someone who has ten, however well it photographs on the day.

Our principles

Three beliefs behind the method

Talk before cutting

The consultation decides the result.

Patch test, always

48 hours before colour. No exceptions.

Honest about what suits

We'd rather decline than disappoint.
